airplanes and spacecraft on two visual levels ranging from the
Wright brothers' 1903 Flyer,
through Charles Lindberg's Spirit of St. Louis to the
satellite and manned spacecraft collection.
Gallery 112
Lunar Exploration Vehicles displays the
Appollo Lunar Module, a
duplicate of the spacecraft that carried astronauts to the surface of the moon,
the Lunar Rover, the Lunar Orbiter and Apollo space suits.
Gallery 114
Space Hall has the backup to Skylab, a test model of the Hubble Space
Telescope, the V2 long-range ballistic missile and many other rocket porpelled
vehicles up to the space shuttle orbiter.
